Angel Hui Hoi Kiu
Stranger Garden

When Spring’s bathroom door is closed, the room turns into a small space like a garden. From surrounding boxes bloom tissues that feature the wide, inquisitive eyes of hand-drawn ostriches. All seven of the ostriches peer at the visitor as she goes about her activities, offering the gaze of beguiling strangers in a private space and time.
