November Program 2014
ab110d21-48c2-4373-a8b5-fa3c7fb7bc24

We have three upcoming events to share with you this November. First is a children’s stop-motion animation workshop led by Clara Cheung where kids will learn about our current exhibition and then create a mini-film about it. Next will be a farm workshop day where you can roll up your sleeves and really get dirty with Hong Kong Farm.  And last will be an evening where Croatian choreographer Bruno Isakovic will work with local dancers to create an evening of performance that responds directly to the space and the exhibition.

If you haven’t come by to see our large-scale exhibition “Islands Off the Shores of Asia” co-presented with Para Site Art Space, make sure to come before it closes on December 7.

We look forward to seeing you at Spring this month!

Harvest Workshop Afternoon

Urban agriculture specialists and artist collective HK Farm (Glenn Eugen Ellingsen, Michael Leung and Anthony Ko) have taken over Spring’s main terrace for a year-long residency that began in September 2014.

Join us on on the afternoon of Sunday, November 23 for a harvest workshop where you will get a glimpse of their approach to experimental farming that includes time-lapse photography, sound recording and projection, food sculpture and an edible harvest. We will be running workshops on planter-making, planter-painting, pesto- and jam-making.
