Nov 19 | November Program

Reminder: November Program 2014
229ebc29-c320-4460-9609-5e5e0aa85b46

Join us this weekend on Sunday when you can roll up your sleeves and really get dirty on Spring’s terrace with Hong Kong Farm. We’ll teach you to build your own planter that you can take home for growing your own little seedling – click here to see how.

Then on Saturday, Nov 29, come see how Croatian choreographer Bruno Isakovic and dance producer Alice Rensy  have worked with local dancers to create an evening of performance inside our current exhibition.  Seats are limited, so please rsvp for that using the link below.

Finally, if you haven’t come to see our large-scale exhibition “Islands Off the Shores of Asia” co-presented with Para Site Art Space, make sure to come before it closes on December 7; there will be a final tour led by one of the curators on that day.

We look forward to seeing you at Spring.

Spring x HK Farm
Harvest Workshop Afternoon

Urban agriculture specialists and artist collective HK Farm (Glenn Eugen Ellingsen, Michael Leung and Anthony Ko) have taken over Spring’s main terrace for a year-long residency that began in September 2014.

Join us on the afternoon of Sunday, November 23 for a harvest workshop where you will get a glimpse of their approach to experimental farming that includes time-lapse photography, sound recording and projection, food sculpture and an edible harvest. We will be running workshops on planter-making, planter-painting, pesto- and tea-making.

If you can’t come Sunday, but want to be kept up to speed on what HK Farm is up to at Spring, send an email to farmers@springworkshop.org.
